To ensure that we bring the best online flight school experience, we have scheduled our launches in phases. We have started with the PPL Malawi Curriculum online flight school and plan launch the other products as follows:
We will launch the Night Rating flight school for the Malawi Curriculum. This will enable us to provide an integrated package to our students that includes the night rating — enabling them to receive a night rating together with their initial private pilot licence.
In the third phase, we plan to launch the Instrument Rating online flight school. Again our students who are progressing to their Commercial Pilot Licence will continue with their online flight school seamlessly.
In the fourth phase, we will launch the Instructor Rating online flight school. This will help our CPL students to graduate with an Instructor Rating. Although students have to pay for the flight lessons and simulator usage, they will have free access to both the online ground school and online flight school portals for the Instructor Rating.
The subsequent phases will include launch of the FAA courses, the Malawi helicopter online flight schools and other courses including the Airline Transport Pilot Licence flight school under both the Malawi and FAA curricula.
What this means to you
As we have planned to launch our products in phases, we will not process orders placed before product launches. Even after completing developing the courses, we need to give time to the Malawi Civil Aviation Authority (the Directorate of Civil Aviation) to review the courses and to certify them.
